Note to editors: Students are listed by county and hometown. If a student is receiving more than one degree, all degrees to be earned are listed with the student's name. If a Manhattan area address was given as a permanent address, the student will be listed in the permanent address county and also in the county for the high school of record. NEARLY 2,300 STUDENTS ARE CANDIDATES FOR DEGREES FROM K-STATE
MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University is set to award nearly 2,300 students degrees this spring.
Commencement ceremonies on the Manhattan campus are Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16; commencement for K-State at Salina was May 9.
Degrees being earned include more than 1,900 bachelor's degrees, around 210 master's degrees, about 140 doctoral degrees and nearly 50 associate degrees. About 60 students will receive multiple degrees, and more than 90 students are earning their degrees through K-State's distance education programs.
