THE FIRST TEE OF MANHATTAN ADDS PROGRAM COORDINATOR
MANHATTAN -- Jeff Greene has accepted the position of program coordinator with The First Tee of Manhattan.
His appointment was announced by Jon Kropilak, executive director of The First Tee of Manhattan.
"Jeff embodies the leadership skills and characteristics that define The First Tee," Kropilak said. "His experience in youth development will be a benefit to our program and the community. He will be a positive role model to our students."
A Manhattan native, Greene graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in social science. He was a two-year member of the football team at K-State. His professional experience includes 10 years with Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 as a para educator and assistant football coach at Manhattan High School.
Greene will be responsible for delivering The First Tee Life Skills Experience to area youth who participate in the program. He will also coordinate all community outreach efforts.
"This is a great opportunity to continue mentoring young people in our community," Greene said.
Greene is the son of the late Bill Greene and Kathleen Greene, Manhattan.
