K-STATE COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE, PLANNING AND DESIGN OFFERING LECTURE BY RICK BILSKI OF LEHMAN SMITH MCLEISH

MANHATTAN -- Rick Bilski, a partner and management principal of Lehman Smith McLeish, will present the lecture "Integration and Innovation" for the Kansas State University College of Architecture, Planning and Design.

Bilski's lecture will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 7, in the K-State Student Union's Little Theater. The lecture, supported by the K-State student fine arts fee, is free and the public is invited.

Lehman Smith McLeish is an award-winning, industry-leading design firm in Washington, D.C. With a diverse client base in London, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Doha, Mumbai and Seoul as well as the U.S. and Canada, the firm's global practice has projects under construction worldwide.

Bilski oversees project management and technical direction for the firm's studio work, ensuring that design concepts are seamlessly integrated across disciplines into a highly efficient project delivery system. He directs firmwide project documentation and construction administration, and oversees all consultants and contractors. He manages complex budgets and schedules to support real estate transactions, building modifications, construction-phasing strategies, and coordinates between technical consultants to ensure a fully integrated product.
