BUSINESSES TO SEEK EMPLOYEES, INTERNS AT K-STATE AGRI-INDUSTRY CAREER FAIR JAN. 29
MANHATTAN -- Representatives from more than 65 businesses, including Frito-Lay, Safeway, Syngenta and Archer Daniels Midland, are coming to Kansas State University to talk with students in K-State's College of Agriculture about employment and internship opportunities.
The Agri-Industry Career Fair will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom. Employer representatives will be on hand to discuss opportunities in all areas of agriculture, including the food industry, banking, finance, communications, livestock, grain, research, agronomy and horticulture.
Students are encouraged to wear business casual attire and to bring plenty of copies of their resumes. More information is available at http://www.k-state.edu/ces/students/kstatefairs.htm
The fair is sponsored by K-State's career and employment services and the College of Agriculture. Students serving on the Agri-Industry Career Fair committee include Kyle Baker, a junior in animal sciences and industry, Burden, and Morna Dexter, a graduate student in counseling and student development, Manhattan.
