K-STATE AT SALINA TO OFFER HEAVY EQUIPMENT TRAINING
Salina -- Kansas State University at Salina's department of continuing education will offer a Heavy Equipment Workshop April 22-24.
The three-day workshop is an introduction to safety, operation and equipment. It will cover excavators, backhoes and skid loaders. Also available are one-day workshops that feature specific training on a single piece of equipment.
K-State at Salina has partnered with the North Central Kansas Technical College to create the workshop for anyone interested in heavy equipment, in need of a refresher course or in need of basic training. Participants will learn equipment basics and safety. They also will practice operation of equipment.
Participants must be over 18 years of age and must enroll by April 8. For more information, contact K-State at Salina continuing education at 785-826-2633.
