MISS KANSAS TO TEAM WITH CAT CANNON CLUB AT KU-K-STATE GAME

MANHATTAN -- Adrienne Rosel, Miss Kansas 2005, will be a member of the Kansas State University at Salina Cat Cannon club during the Kansas-K-State football game Saturday, Oct. 8, at the K-State football stadium.

Rosel, Liberal, is a 2005 graduate of the University of Kansas and was crowned Miss Kansas in June on the platform of "Small Towns, Big Dreams."

Rosel is the niece of Greg Spaulding, associate professor of mechanical engineering technology at K-State at Salina and adviser of the Cat Cannon club.

Since 2000 the Cat Cannon, a contraption built by mechanical engineering technology students at the Salina campus, blasts T-shirts into the stands during K-State home football games.
